MKC only uses handpicked staff that are trained by our in-house management team to a the highest level of hospitality. MKC employees are the main point of contact between the client and our company, bearing this in mind MKC cannot just let the food do the talking and therefore offer friendly, attentive professionals do this for us in an unobtrusive manner as standard.

MKC has good quality white linen as standard available to fit most needs, however, anything bespoke you may require we are more than glad to help you source this through our relationships with specialist contractors.
MKC has a 3000sqft Industrial Production Kitchen with sectional preparation areas and state of the art equipment to ensure all modern, safe practices of food production are in line with the FSA regulations. A large refrigeration capability enables MKC to cater for an event of any size or nature.
MKC also has a fleet of vehicles dedicated to specific tasks, from two 3.5 tonne heavy lifting wagon, fridge trailers & City vans to a Land Rover 4×4 for those muddy field days – ensuring all eventualities are covered. MKC’s kitchen also has two industrial pass – through dishwashers so that everything arrives spotlessly clean and goes away dirty – so there is no need for on-site washing.
Having already inspected the site, your party hire and our mobile kitchen equipment such as hotplates, hot cupboards, ovens and water boilers will be brought and installed as appropriate 24hrs before the event. It is here where system checks take place to ensure everything is correct and working perfectly. Your service staff will set your room making sure everything is clean, polished and crisp. The refrigerated food arrives in plenty of time and subsequently cooked to perfection and served by our fantastic team of bar and service staff.
Michael Kernall draws upon thirty years’ experience in the catering and hospitality industry, cooking for private parties and weddings on nearly every continent for royalty, government figures and celebrities. He has a broad, eclectic mix of culinary influences from being classically trained as a youth and finding his own style incorporating new world fusion.
To bolster his expertise Michael draws upon a team of seasoned, no-nonsense chefs with the knowledge to not only cook the perfect dish for your party, but to deliver it in a style that will wow your guests, every time.
The team have cooked for most known-to-man dietary requirements, whether this is for many and different, or just the one coeliac or nut allergy at the party. MKC has the expertise and equipment to make sure that these foods are prepared in an isolated environment.
All products that can be hired from MKC are of premium quality. They are submitted to stringent tests designed to guarantee top quality levels whilst their functionality is tested directly by us!
Firstly the aesthetics are looked at meaning that the pieces, which fall below the visual quality level required, are rejected. Secondly, the designs chosen are sampled and used to check resistance and reliability to ensure they are fit for the task in hand.
Absolutely! We are happy to serve your own alcohol, however charge a small corkage style fee to facilitate this. We are also fully licensed and can provide cash bar situations. We also have an extensive wine list and do drinks packages that can be bespoke around your particular needs. We also have the equipment to provide and serve draught and hand-pulled ales.
